En Route: Waves at Malibu on PCH

Waves and wind on the Pacific Ocean were crazy the other day en route to the museum. The whole city of LA was blowing while it waited for more rain to come in. Thought this trip along Highway 1 would be a fun way to head into the weekend. Have a great one everybody!

It's never too cold for some people to soak up the rays.
The Malibu Pier glowed after rains the night before.
If you lived here you'd be home now.
Santa Monica comes into view.
A perfect place for kite-surfing and sail-boarding is at Will Rogers Beach. See Catalina Island in the background?

Coming into Santa Monica, the waves and wind were still raging...

...which was just fine for these kite-surfers.

Ahh, the sweet life.
